Have you ever read character traits about your zodiac sign? If you haven’t, you should. It’s pretty mind-blowing. How is it that based on the day you were born, you are welcomed in to the world with certain traits?
How is it that if you were born in September you are likely meticulous, practical, and analytical? If you were born in early December you are probably optimistic, intellectual and philosophical. If you were born in early April, chances are you are adventurous and quick-witted. How is it possible that this is even remotely consistent amongst billions and billions of people on our planet?
It has to do with Astrology. An ancient practice that interprets the influence that the Sun and Moon have while they are in a specific sign of the zodiac. According to astrology, there are 12 divisions in the sky, measuring exactly 30 degrees each. Each of these divisions along the astrological circle is named after a major constellation found within it: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.
Now, as I’m sure you are aware, our vast universe isn’t just sitting in one place, hanging out. It’s constantly in motion. With that, planets, moons, stars, and even whole galaxies are in constant movement, and this causes certain “alignments” that create an “Age” of time. This is also true on our own planet… this is known as an Astrological age, which occurs because of a real motion of Earth known as the precession of the equinoxes.
The cycle of precession lasts 25,800 years, and changes roughly every 2,150 years.
Well, there’s a certain time in mankind where things seem abundantly “perfect.” There are no major wars going on, there is prosperity and economic growth, and there is an aura that seems abundant that allows man to take major leaps forward.
